Bentonite is a clay product that improves pellet quality, prevents caking and improves flowability in livestock feeds. It also can improve feed efficiency, rate of gain, milk production, wool growth and egg production. Sodium bentonite is believed to function by absorbing ammonia and toxins while reducing the rate of feed passage through an animal’s digestive system.
